Atelier.c o n c e p t

This is the second artist studio I visit this April: the first was sorin ilfoveanu’s in Bucharest earlier this month and today I visited atelier.concept’s studio.

The studio is a small space and feels intimate: is not like a regular exhibition so you feel closer to the artist. It is passed six o’clock in the evening but the sun is still up. A yellow blanket covers the window and creates a warm ambiance. Outside the window you can hear Somes river flowing.

The exhibition, called work in progress, reunites some of the work of Lucian, namely illustration, drawing and painting. He seems a bit excited but talks with confidence. His illustrations remind me of pop surrealism and his characters are cute and fantay.
